Born and raised in Aspen, Colorado to a family of outdoor fanatics, Finn Beidleman spent his formative years Nordic skiing competitively. While pursuing a degree in outdoor education and recreation to become a mountaineer guide like his dad, Beidleman realized he enjoyed capturing people’s experiences through photography as well as guiding them up the mountain. Transferring to Montana State University for their Film & Photography program, Beidleman continued his schooling to hone in his skills, in and out of the classroom. He independently wrote a guide book about the Bridger Bowl Ski Area by utilizing aerial photography, on the ground research, and teaching himself Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. Beidleman uses photography as a visual outlet to understand how he interacts with the world around him. He continues his education at MSU, learning the deeper foundations of photography to gain new perspectives to apply in a variety of mediums. In search of the ultimate dream to solidify his sense of self.
